I bought this rusty hammer head at a flea market to use as a sledgehammer a while ago. I wanted to make a handle for it a while ago. Now that I have a new spokeshave this was the perfect opportunity to try it out and use a piece of Ashwood. I finished the handle with several coats of boiled linseed oil and protected the head with the paste wax I made.
