Making a Mig torch holder and Third hand

Found some scrap pieces of metal and figured I need to make me the 3rd hand to hold 2 pieces quick while tac welding them together. The second one is a Mig torch holder where I can hang the torch while not in use. I just recently bought a MIG welder and since I haven’t any experience with welding I need to practice on things that are easy to make but also useful in the future.
