I named it the rattlesnake tail pen because the striped look, but its made from Leather. I used a 6mm hole punch to snugly fit the 7mm pen tube, glued the leather pieces on with some white wood glue and leave it to dry overnight. after flush trimming i put it on my mandrel which is bent a little so l turn only one half of a pen to get less vibration. For the finish i used 5 coats of Thin CA glue,afterwards i wet sanded it to 2000 grit , and buffed it with some leftover leather.
