I wanted to make some sort of live edge turning but the Oak log that i had was to small for a bowl, and i preferred to turn bigger pieces so i decided to make a Vase or planter of some sort. And this is what i came up with. It’s not perfect and my wall thickness is way to thick, but this helps the vase to dry out more evenly and i can turn it again when it dried.i used have coats of wax to seal the piece, so that i can use the vase even in this phase.
