Making a Bench that turns into a Double Bed

This Bench easily folds out to become a Double size bed, Ideal for small living spaces. And you can store all the parts and the air mattress under the seat of the bench. I used 3 Sheets of 18mm pine plywood, hinges, screws, wood glue and clear waterbased varnish for finish. It can be made by using just 3 basic woodworking tools such as a Circular saw a Drill and a Sander.

Making a Useful Tool from Broken Car Spring

Car springs are made from steel that would be quite suitable for making tools, they are also cheap or you can get them for free from your local car mechanic.

As I’m very new to blacksmithing this is the perfect price to pay for a usable “practice” material. This time I want to make a knife that is most often used for woodcarving, Better known as a hook knife This tool is very handy when carving wooden dishes, spoons. Thank you very much for watching!

Forging Basic Blacksmiths Tongs | Beginner Blacksmithing Project

This is my First blacksmithing project so if I can do it you can make them too! In total, I used about 300mm of 25mm x 6 mm mild steel flat bar for the forged tongs and about 800mm of the same material for the “stupid” simple ones. Which can be reused for forging new tongs.

Wastebasket from Plywood with woven pattern / Or is it a Lampshade?

Making a trash can from plywood. Or is it a lampshade? Back in 2016, I made a Twisted plywood lamp from cut up strips of 18mm plywood, at that time I experimented with weaving these thin plywood strips together without any luck. So this time i Make a rubbish bin with the same materials but instead of weaving the strips together I’ll just glue them together in a woven pattern. The glue I’m using is just regular Cyanoacrylate (super glue) glue with an activator which helps the glue to dry quicker.
For finishing, I just use a satin clear spray lacquer. This wastebasket is meant to be used in my office for paper waste. Or should I use it as a lampshade instead?

Simple Box Joint Jig for the Router Table

This is a simple way to build a jig that makes it possible to cut box joints also known as finger joints on your router table ( Build video for mine: https://youtu.be/-xHVPCrR7OU ) I used some leftover MDF but you can also use Plywood for this. I recommend that you use an up cut spiral bit like this one: https://amzn.to/2TuKC38 to in your preferred size to prevent tear out. I use a sacrificial piece to prevent tear out on my workpiece.

Making a Simple Desk with Hidden Drawer

I use some wooden table legs and a piece of the leftover countertop that I found a while ago in a dumpster. With the use of some pine and plywood leftovers. The only things I had to buy are the drawer slides ($7) for the secret drawer and the edge banding ($0.50) that goes on the countertop. I applied 5 coats of Hazelnut stain and 2 coats of satin lacquer. I hope you like this simple but modern looking table with the secret drawer.
